Mission Statement

MILLBROOK HORSE TRIALS 
PURPOSE STATEMENT
The purposes for which Millbrook Horse Trials was formed are:
  1. to foster and promote national or international amateur athletic competition in Horse Trials at events held in Dutchess County, New York under the rules of the United States Eventing Association and the United States Equestrian Federation;
  2. to invite and encourage public attendance at the Corporation’s athletic events and thereby promote outdoor recreation, animal rights awareness, environmental stewardship and healthful living;
  3. to support other not-for-profit organizations dedicated to the preservation of rural land, environmental preservation and open spaces by distributing sponsorship revenues, donations and other proceeds from the operation of the Corporation’s athletic events.
