Located just minutes from the Horse Trials, Millbrook School’s Trevor-Lovejoy Zoo inspires all to live responsibly by educating its students and visitors about conservation, wildlife, and the natural world. Accredited by the AZA (Association of Zoos and Aquariums), the zoo is open to the public every day of the year from 9 am till 5 pm, including all Holidays. Founded in 1936 by Millbrook’s first biology teacher, Frank Trevor, more than 180 animals, including 11 endangered species, reside at the zoo. A unique aspect of the zoo is that some 75 high school students work at the zoo every day and help care for the animals. The zoo includes wolves, lemurs, otters, red pandas, wallabies and much more.
You must make a reservation online to visit the zoo. Payment will not be collected until you arrive at the zoo. Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for kids aged 3 to 12. Children 2 and under are free.
